
Marketing Intern

Position Overview
We are looking for a creative, community-minded Marketing Intern to join our HR team. This role supports recruitment marketing efforts by helping tell the story of our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) to potential job seekers while also keeping current staff engaged through internal communications and social media campaigns. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about storytelling, branding, and community engagement.
What You Will Do
Draft engaging posts for LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms to showcase clinic culture, employee highlights, and job opportunities.
Assist in designing and distributing marketing materials for staff and the community.
Update job advertisement posters and create flyers for distribution at local career fairs, educational institutions, and community events.
Support internal communication initiatives, including employee spotlights and staff engagement campaigns.
Maintain the digital media library (photos/videos) and ensure organized storage of marketing assets.
Assist with basic data entry and tracking engagement metrics for recruitment marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with HR and leadership to promote hiring initiatives and workforce development programs.
Provide support for community outreach events, job fairs, and recruitment initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design.
Strong proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong writing skills with a people‑first tone.
Ability to multitask.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Outgoing, friendly personality.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience working in a healthcare setting or familiarity with healthcare regulations.
Experience with content creation tools, photography, or basic video editing.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to balance, bend, lift, carry, and pull up to 20 lbs.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, typically longer than four hours.
Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, or as needed.
Manual dexterity and ability to use hands and fingers for feeling, grasping, and operating office equipment.
Adequate hearing ability for communication and monitoring office environments.
Good vision for reading documents, operating office equipment, and observing surroundings.
Capability to stoop, crouch, crawl, or kneel as necessary for office tasks.
Ability to talk clearly and effectively for communication.
Ability to walk and move around the office environment.
