Who We Are We are Tennis! The Role * Support the marketing division on various administration tasks including attending meetings and compiling follow-up notes
Research and compile weekly marketing trend analysis to identify emerging trends in sports and brand marketing landscape to implement as part of marketing strategy
Assist the marketing team in one-off tasks as needed
Track and record all US Open marketing initiatives for post-tournament report
Analyze ticket buyer data for US Open to develop a robust assessment of marketing effectiveness of ticket sales campaign to determine acquisition cost and lifetime value of customer for both major events
Support team with customer communications including the US Open Chatbot by ensuring content is updated and accurate, and US Open emails by facilitating requests and tracking and analyzing testing data
Support partnership marketing asset approval by ensuring tracker is up to date with new materials
Compile headshots of players competing in the US Open, track sponsors and identify new headshots when sponsors change
Assist compilation of videoboard asset tracker and manage collection of materials shared by various USTA stakeholders for in stadium/on the grounds use
Support management of master PA message tracker
Assist with updates to the confirmed performers list in partnership with production team
Compile folder with photos, marketing materials, etc. to share with PR, social and editorial teams for their use and to be shared with external parties as needed
Program details:
8-week program from June 9 through August 11
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET
Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site at our Westchester office.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Who You Are * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sports Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Academic coursework or projects related to marketing strategy, consumer behavior, analytics, or digital marketing preferred.
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple trackers, documents, and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to attend meetings, capture detailed notes, and compile clear follow-up summaries.
Demonstrated research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify marketing trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing asset trackers, sponsor materials, customer communications, and reporting data.
Ability to handle one-off and ad hoc tasks with professionalism, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
Familiarity with marketing analytics concepts, including campaign performance measurement, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value analysis.
Experience working with datasets (e.g., ticket buyer or customer data) using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools to support performance assessments.
Understanding of A/B testing, email marketing metrics, and basic customer journey analysis is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, Word/Docs).
Comfort working with marketing trackers, shared drives, and content management systems.
