Job Overview Lawn Doctor of Rocky Mount – Wendell - Louisburg is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our growing team. No previous Marketing experience is required, but a can-do attitude, working knowledge of social media and a willingness to learn are musts.
Responsibilities and Duties As our marketing intern, your core responsibility is to generate brand awareness and customer impressions through a variety of local marketing tactics.
Your day-to-day activities include guerilla marketing tactics such as door hanging, posting lawn signs, parking the van and park-and-wave events. Guerilla Marketing is a blanket term used for any marketing tactics that generate buzz and reach a large number of prospective customers. The opportunities are endless and we encourage you to get creative and think outside the box. If you have a positive attitude with an ease of jumping head first into any task, you will excel in this role.
Other responsibilities:
Social Media – manage our local Lawn Doctor Facebook page, generate creative content, engage followers, keep page relevant by publishing content and replying to comments.
Events – research local home and garden shows and other community events, hand out promotional items, marketing materials, engage with prospective customers, or wear our Lawn Doctor mascot costume.
Weekly Webinars – attend the weekly marketing meetings hosted by Lawn Doctor corporate, engage in conversations regarding local marketing efforts and interact with other team members.
Qualifications
Education level: High school graduate
Experience: No marketing experience required; training will be provided.
Must have a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and a go-getter attitude.
