The College Football Playoff is seeking paid interns for the 2026-2027 season. These individuals will play a vital role in the success of their respective departments and contribute to the overall mission of CFP. This CFP internship program offers hands‑on experience in a fast-paced environment, providing valuable opportunities for professional growth and development within the sports industry. CFP Interns will be employed in Irving, Texas, from July 14, 2026, to April 30, 2027. They will work Monday through Friday, with occasional opportunities for overtime on nights and weekends during peak business periods. To be considered, all candidates must have earned a bachelor's degree by July 1, 2026.

Public Events and Sponsorships Job Responsibilities * Assist in the management, planning, and execution of all events and initiatives that fall under the direct supervision of the Senior Director and Coordinator of Public Events and Sponsorships. This includes but is not limited to: Playoff Fan Central, Playoff Playlist Live, CFP House, Championship Tailgate, Taste of the Championship, Trophy Trot 5k/10k, Sponsor Product Donation, Sponsor Fulfillment, Playoff Green, Clean Zone, Community Outreach.

Manage:

Social media and departmental marketing plan and timelines

Payment and invoice submission process

Event ticketing ordering and distribution process

Collaborate with internal and external marketing teams to promote attendance at, and generate interest in, all public events

Create unique content for social and digital media platforms to promote all public events

Support the Senior Director and Coordinator of Public Events and Sponsorships with day‑to‑day administrative needs including preparing meeting materials, taking and organizing minutes for meetings and calls, and managing shipping operations

Work collaboratively with other interns and staff on office‑wide projects as needed

Answer and return phone calls and electronic correspondence as needed

Reports To Senior Director of Public Events and Sponsorships

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

1+ years of event planning, including, but not limited to, idea generation, execution and budget maintenance

Able to manage, prioritize, and bring multiple projects to completion

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a collaborative environment

Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of all corporate, personnel, and research matters

Attention to detail, adaptability to a changing environment, and dependability are crucial

Ability to work under pressure and autonomously

Responsible for handling own workloads and being self‑motivated

Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher

Flexibility to work long hours including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities are subject to change.
