Point Nine is an upscale casual restaurant inAndover looking for an organized, outgoing Event Coordinator

to help manage private parties, catering orders, and restaurant events, as well as represent the restaurant at external events such as networking groups, and bridal shows and help manage administrative duties such as paperwork.

This role combines

event planning, customer communication, administrative coordination, and community outreach . The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, staying organized, and helping create memorable experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

Coordinatecatering orders and private events from initial inquiry through event completion

Communicate with guests to confirm event details, timelines, and special requests

Ensure event details are properly executed with restaurant leadership and staff

Assist with planning and executing restaurant-hosted events

Attend bridal shows, chamber events, networking groups, and community events to promote the restaurant

Track event details, maintain booking records, and complete related administrative tasks

Manage restaurant merchandise displays and inventory

Receive and organize incoming merchandise

Qualifications

Strong organization and attention to detail

Friendly, professional communication skills

Comfortable interacting with guests and representing the restaurant at community events

Ability to manage multiple projects and follow through on details

Hospitality, event planning, catering, or administrative experience preferred but not required

Schedule

Full-time or part-time depending on candidate performance

Very flexible and able to adapt to candidate needs. Occasionalevenings and weekends may be required for events

Pay

Hourly pay plus performance based bonuses
