Who You Are We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instructional Designer to join our Manufacturing Processes and Engagement Team within our Production Engineering organization. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing effective training programs to meet the needs of our employees and clients in Production Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, e-learning development, and project management, as well as an understanding of manufacturing. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, multimedia developers, and other stakeholders. In this fast-paced role, you will be an integral part of the training team, responsible for designing learning activities, assignments, and assessments for an organization of over 1000 people. Every day will be unique as you collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to develop course content. You may also teach in a classroom, or virtual setting to Production Engineering employees. In this role, you will make a difference by creating targeted training material that ensures our workforce has the skills needed to execute the production engineering processes of the future. What You Will Be Doing Conduct needs analysis from competency model data to identify training needs and objectives within production engineering Design and develop instructional materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, storyboards, and assessments that align with industry standards and best practices Collaborate with subject matter experts in production engineering to develop engaging and interactive learning experiences Develop e-learning courses using authoring tools such as PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, or similar, with a focus on production engineering concepts and processes Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines Ensure all instructional materials are aligned with learning objectives and meet quality standards Conduct formative and summative evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training programs within the organization Collaborate with multimedia developers to incorporate audio, video, and animation into instructional materials Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and e-learning development Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organization's production engineering training curriculum What’s In It For You: From onsite to remote, we offer flexible work schedules to comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security.
