Role Overview The
Ground Business Development Executive (BDE)
will drive on-ground expansion by identifying hotel owners, property developers, and investment groups interested in franchising or converting properties under G6 Hospitality brands. The role requires strong field prospecting, relationship management, and local market intelligence while competing with major hospitality management.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct
on-ground market research and property scouting
to identify potential hotel franchise or conversion opportunities.
Meet
hotel owners, asset managers, and real estate brokers
to present the value proposition of
Motel 6
and
Studio 6 .
Generate new business through
field visits, cold outreach, networking events, and referrals .
Build strong relationships with
hospitality owners, developers, and investment groups .
Analyze local market trends and competitor activities involving companies like Aimbridge Hospitality, Sage Hospitality Group, AvantStay, Sonder, and Highgate.
Maintain and update
sales pipeline, property visits, and lead status in CRM systems .
Support deal progress by coordinating with
franchise development, legal, finance, and operations teams .
Achieve assigned
territory expansion and deal closure targets .
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number of
qualified hotel owner meetings per month
New franchise / conversion opportunities generated
Deals progressed to contract stage
Territory coverage and
new market penetration
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Business, Hospitality Management, Real Estate, or related field
1–4 years of experience
in field sales, hospitality sales, or business development
Strong
relationship-building and negotiation skills
Ability to conduct
extensive field travel within assigned markets
Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Experience
Experience working with
hotel owners, property developers, or franchise networks
Background in
hospitality sales, real estate, or hotel management companies
