Overview

The Dallas Children's Advocacy Center (DCAC) is seeking an experienced Development Officer, Corporate and Community Partnerships for the Development Department. The role focuses on growing corporate and community-based revenue, expanding DCAC’s visibility and impact across North Texas, securing corporate financial support, cultivating in-kind partnerships, activating third-party beneficiary and point-of-sale giving opportunities, and engaging volunteers as ambassadors for DCAC’s mission. The position serves as a primary outward-facing representative of DCAC to businesses, civic groups, and community partners, with emphasis on relationship-building, presentations, and partnership development that lead to sustainable financial support. About DCAC:

The mission of the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center is to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County and to provide national leadership on child abuse issues. DCAC is a non-profit organization and the only agency of its kind in Dallas County, working with public and private agencies to investigate, prosecute, and provide healing services for child abuse cases in Dallas County. We reduce victimization, remove barriers to investigation and treatment, and enhance criminal prosecution with our distinctive multidisciplinary and united approach, all at no cost to our clients. Each year, DCAC serves over 13,000 children and their non-offending family members. We are a national and international leader in the Children\'s Advocacy Center movement, recognized for our expertise in identification, investigation, and prosecution of child abuse cases; cutting-edge clinical services and programs for victims and their families; and our community and professional training programs. Essential Duties And Key Responsibilities Corporate Partnerships

Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partners to grow unrestricted and programmatic revenue support. Develop customized partnership opportunities aligned with corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals. Expand DCAC’s corporate donor pipeline, with a focus on multi-year and non-event support. Represent DCAC at corporate meetings, networking events, and community engagements. Deliver presentations to corporations, civic groups, and community organizations to educate audiences about DCAC’s mission and impact. Secure and manage third-party beneficiary partnerships, including: Point-of-sale (POS) giving Employee give-back days Percentage-of-sales promotions Collaborate with Marketing team to promote partner activations and recognize impact. Lead strategy and execution for DCAC’s in-kind giving program. Identify and steward in-kind partnerships that meet operational and programmatic needs year-round. Volunteer Engagement & Community Activation

Collaborate with all DCAC departments to identify opportunities for volunteers and coordinate placement and experiences to deepen engagement and build long-term affinity with DCAC. Support agency events, special events, and fundraising events such as Holiday of Hope, Art for Advocacy, Crimes Against Children Conference, Mahjong for a Mission, Bingo for Bravery, and client-serving drives to ensure volunteer needs are met for a successful event and guest experience. Responsible for volunteer recruitment, tracking, training & onboarding, scheduling, on-site management, and compliance. Partner with Advancement team to ensure volunteers are interviewed, background checked, and trained. Ability to work a flexible schedule in the weeks leading up to the Crimes Against Children Conference (June – August) and during the 3 to 4-week duration of Holiday of Hope in December. Flex time available. Collaborate with marketing to co-create a monthly volunteer newsletter, Volunteer Voice, to share important announcements and opportunities. Maintain and manage volunteer appreciation budget within guidelines. Other Duties

Other duties as assigned. Attend agency staff meetings and weekly supervision meetings with DOA. Complete agency compliance training in a timely manner. Attend and participate in the annual Crimes Against Children Conference and stay on site for the week of the event (August). Attend DCAC events where volunteers need to be managed or advancement team support is needed. Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in fundraising, nonprofit, business, marketing, or sales and a demonstrated 3-5 years of successful fundraising or sales experience. Enthusiastic and skilled networker who enjoys getting out into the community, attending events, and participating in civic groups and activities that position the organization for success. Proficiency in database management, Microsoft Office Suite, and other computer skills, as required. Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees, board members, partners, and community. Ability to work some evenings and weekends for special events. Communicates clearly, professionally, and diplomatically with internal teams, volunteers, donors, and external partners. Ensures consistency, compliance, and timely follow-up across all assigned responsibilities. Responds proactively to challenges and changing priorities with flexibility and solutions-oriented thinking. Contributes to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and shared mission ownership. Work Environment

Work Location:

All work must be performed in the office. Remote work permitted up to two days per week after 90 days of employment and with Chief of Advancement approval. Mental and Physical Abilities:

Duties are usually performed seated with occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited physical effort is required associated with lifting and carrying objects (less than 25 lbs). Working Conditions:

Work may be performed but is not limited to an office environment. There will be some events that require support and attendance in the evening and/or on a weekend offsite. Essential Functions:
