Landscape Designer | Eclipse Landscape Architecture and Planning
Eclipse Landscape Architecture and Planning is seeking a creative and technically proficient Landscape Designer to join our team. We are a firm where high-level land use planning meets artistic, site-specific design. We don’t just "landscape" sites; we craft environments that balance ecological sensitivity with sophisticated aesthetics.
As a Landscape Designer at Eclipse, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of a project—from the first conceptual sketch to the final site inspection.
The Role
You will work directly with our lead planners and designers to transform vision into reality. Your day-to-day will include: Conceptual Design: Developing illustrative site plans, sections, and 3D models that communicate the "Eclipse" vision. Technical Production: Creating comprehensive construction documentation sets, including layout, grading, and detailed planting plans. Planning Integration: Collaborating on land use planning projects, ensuring designs are not only beautiful but navigate complex zoning and regulatory requirements. Visual Communication: Crafting high-end renderings and presentations for client meetings and public hearings. What We’re Looking For
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a close equivalent. Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in a design firm setting. Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). 3D Skills: Proficiency in SketchUp, Lumion, or Rhino to bring concepts to life. The "Eclipse" Edge: A strong understanding of native plant palettes, sustainable design principles, and a keen eye for material detailing. Why Eclipse?
We offer a collaborative, small-firm environment where your voice is heard and your professional growth is a priority. We value mentorship and provide the opportunity to work on diverse project types, from high-end residential to master-planned communities. Will be determined based on experience We look forward to seeing your work!
