Job Description
This position is contingent upon contract award and funding. Employment will not commence unless and until the contract is awarded and funding is confirmed.
Anglin Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Contract Specialist to provide acquisition support services for a federal government client. This role supports various procurement teams by performing pre-award and post-award functions in accordance with federal regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive reviews of procurement documents for accuracy, adequacy, and completeness.
Identify and resolve inconsistencies through communication with government stakeholders.
Read and interpret Federal and agency acquisition policy, regulations, and directives.
Draft and prepare contract-related documents and forms.
Perform and evaluate market research, trends, conditions, and alternative sources.
Prepare and process purchase requisitions and procurement packages for the Contracting Officer.
Research, analyze, and prepare documents for contract closeout, including invoice receipts, receiving reports, and final payments.
Perform post-award administration in support of the Contracting Officer.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of federal contracting experience within the last five (5) years.
Education: A minimum of 24 semester hours in business-related courses such as accounting, law, finance, contracts, purchasing, or marketing.
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Background Investigation: Must be able to pass a federal background investigation for facility and system access.
Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint, and government contract writing systems (e.g., eCMS). Familiarity with SAM.gov, CPARS, and FPDS-NG.
A past or current Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) Level I / FAC-Professional or DAWIA Level I is preferred.
