
Business Development Representative (GTM Sales)

The Team On the Business Development Team you will be on the front lines of growth, helping to expand market presence by identifying and engaging with key decision-makers at large organizations.
The Role The Business Development Representative’s main focus is to identify, develop, and create new enterprise opportunities in new and existing accounts for 1-2 Account Executives in specific verticals within the US.
Responsibilities
Evangelize the Platform: Act as a champion for the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, showcasing its capabilities and articulating its value proposition to new and existing customers.
Strategically Prospect: Use modern tools to connect with prospective clients via cold calls, email, and social channels.
Generate Pipeline: Drive sales growth by setting up qualified meetings and creating a robust pipeline for Account Executives.
Own Your Territory: Be responsible for a defined territory, developing new accounts and expanding relationships with existing customers.
Partner with Sales & Marketing: Collaborate on account-based strategies and campaigns while following up on new leads.
Support Complex Sales Cycles: Multithread lines of business within complex enterprise accounts to build broad support and consensus.
Qualifications
Have a BA/BS from a top university or equivalent
1-3 years of sales or business development experience in a SaaS organization (a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including engaging senior stakeholders
Adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Results-driven with a strong desire to compete and exceed targets
Curious, coachable, and eager to learn

Work Arrangement This is a hybrid role. Employees are expected to be in-office 3 days per week.
Compensation The base salary range below is for the role in New York, based on a Full Time Schedule. Total compensation includes base salary, bonus/commission, equity, and benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off). The actual offer will depend on qualifications, skills, experiences, and location.
Base salary range in New York: $58,500—$60,000 USD
