Overview
The Department of Cardiology at Northwell Health's South Shore University Hospital is seeking a full-time Director of Structural Heart Echocardiography to join our highly skilled cardiac team. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology and Echocardiography with dedicated training and experience in structural heart imaging. The candidate will also have opportunities in general echocardiography/transesophageal echocardiography, as well as inpatient and outpatient patient care. Training in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CTA, and cMRI is a plus. Northwell Health's structural heart program has seen tremendous growth, participates in national clinical trials across structural heart cardiology, and serves as a regional tertiary center with high-volume, high-quality care. Responsibilities
Lead and oversee structural heart echocardiography within a multidisciplinary cardiac team. Provide general echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography services as part of inpatient and outpatient care. Collaborate on clinical trials and contribute to program development and quality initiatives. Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Echocardiography. Dedicated training and experience in structural heart imaging. Opportunities in general echocardiography/TEE, inpatient and outpatient care. Training in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT (CTA), and cardiac MRI (cMRI) is a plus. About Northwell Health / Benefits
