Overview A leading global design organization is seeking a highly creative and versatile

Freelance Brand Designer

to support two interconnected creative teams focused on public‑facing storytelling and internal brand expression. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in fast‑paced environments, enjoys working across a wide range of visual formats, and has a strong command of brand systems, social media design, and narrative‑driven content.

The designer will contribute to both external storytelling initiatives and internal brand moments, producing high‑quality visual assets that reflect a cohesive and contemporary brand identity. This is a part‑time contract role with guaranteed monthly hours and additional project‑based work during peak periods.

Responsibilities

Commitment:

24–60 hours per month (minimum 24 hours guaranteed)

Weekly Estimate:

~6–8 hours per week, with increased hours during major events

Advance Notice:

Time‑intensive projects will be scheduled with at least 2 months’ notice

Create high‑quality brand and social media assets across digital formats

Develop templates, carousels, and campaign visuals for public‑facing channels

Design internal decks and event materials with strong visual consistency

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external creative partners

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines reliably

Ensure all work adheres to established brand guidelines

Contribute to visual storytelling and trend‑driven creative exploration

About the Work

Public‑Facing Design (Social Media & Storytelling)

— Approx. 6–8 hours per week

Maintain and update visual templates for recurring content series

Design storytelling carousels for product and feature launches (1–3 per month)

Produce original content and assets for social channels, aligned with brand guidelines

Translate creative trends into engaging, on‑brand visual narratives

Internal Brand Design (Events, Decks, Swag)

Design and update presentation decks for 3–4 major internal events

Manage ongoing deck updates as content evolves, ensuring readiness ahead of deadlines

Establish and maintain visual identity systems for internal presentations

Collaborate with internal partners to finalize content and upload assets

Design branded swag for internal events and team initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in brand design, visual design, or social media design

Strong portfolio demonstrating brand systems, social content, and campaign work

Proficiency in

Adobe Creative Suite

(InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects)

Proficiency in

Figma

(preferred)

Experience designing for social media platforms, especially Instagram

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate effectively

Strong visual storytelling skills and ability to translate trends into compelling content

Experience writing or refining copy for social media assets

Familiarity with contemporary brand aesthetics and visual language

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within a creative department focused on storytelling

Background or interest in the art and design community

Motion design or animation skills
