
Asset Protection Officer (APO)

Responsibilities
Report violations of federal, state, and local policies and safety issues to the Community Manager and Security Director.
Investigate criminal issues and solve problems related to security.
Develop and maintain a strong liaison with local authorities in your jurisdiction.
Understand and implement all aspects of community policy and enforce community lease, rules, and regulations fairly and impartially.
Report all emergencies to the Community Manager and Security Director and provide an incident report within 24 hours of the incident.
Provide exceptional customer service to all residents, potential residents, and their guests.
Maintain high visibility to deter unacceptable activities in the community.
Generate a well-written report to account for all activities during patrol.
Respond to medical, criminal, and disaster incidents and determine/direct immediate response action.
Conduct a monthly light-out inspection in the community’s common areas.
Regularly check vacant units to ensure they are intact and that windows and doors are secured.
Qualifications
Successful track record as a law enforcement professional or military experience, preferably in military police or intelligence and/or security area.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
Availability to work any days.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
High School diploma or equivalent.
