As the Commercial Marketing Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to drive market success through deep customer understanding, compelling positioning, and effective go-to-market execution. In this role, you will serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring our service offerings resonate in the market, enable sales success, and drive growth. You will lead initiatives across customer and competitor intelligence gathering, messaging development, service launch planning, and sales enablement, collaborating cross-functionally with sales, operations, field development, strategy, and leadership. Customer and Market Insight

Conduct customer & competitor focused intelligence gathering, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to understand buyer needs, areas of competitive pressure, and differentiation opportunities. Develop detailed customer personas to inform marketing and commercial tactics. Collaborate on improving and refining our customer segmentation framework Monitor industry developments and competitor activity to inform positioning and new service launch planning. Positioning and Messaging

Craft and evolve clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for focused areas of our portfolio of analytical services. Translate technical service capabilities into compelling value propositions tailored to customer challenges and outcomes. Service Launch and GTM Execution

Collaborate on go-to-market planning for new service launches Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial readiness and alignment on value proposition, messaging and promotion. Collaborate on multi-channel campaigns that drive awareness and lead generation. Track performance metrics and optimize based on feedback and results. Develop sales tools and training materials to support successful customer engagement and service adoption. Enable the sales team with positioning guides, objection handling tools, battlecards, and case studies. Lead sales enablement sessions to ensure consistent understanding and adoption of messaging and go-to-market strategies. Gather sales feedback to refine positioning and identify new opportunities for customer engagement. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred. 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing or product marketing, within pharmaceutical services, CDMO/CRO, biotech, life sciences or related industry. Strong understanding of customer buying behaviors in pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Proven experience in positioning development, and sales enablement. Excellent communication skills with ability to synthesize technical concepts into customer-centric and sales-centric messaging. Highly organized, with strong planning and cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent problem-solving skills. Motivated self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and changing environment Some domestic and international travel (up to ~20%).
