IBM Content Manager - CMOD

Overview Our client, a large professional services partner and systems integrator, is looking to hire a DB2 for z/OS Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) SME for a 10-month remote contract. The consultant will specialize in managing, optimizing, and supporting the IBM CMOD for z/OS platform. The consultant will handle high-volume report ingestion, indexing, storage management, retrieval, ensuring archival systems are efficient as well as compliant. The consultant will provide support for system administration, performance & tuning, storage & data management, report management, and security.

Responsibilities

Manage, optimize, and support the IBM CMOD for z/OS platform

Handle high-volume report ingestion, indexing, storage management, retrieval

Ensure archival systems are efficient and compliant

Provide support for system administration, performance & tuning, storage & data management, report management, and security

Qualifications

Expert knowledge of IBM Content Manager OnDemand on z/OS

Advanced DB2 for z/OS database administration skills

Proficiency in z/OS, JCL, TSO, USS and SMP/E

Knowledge of HSM, Tape/Virtual Tape Libraries, and DASD

Experience with REXX, DB2 Utilities, OMEGAMON XE
