**Location:** West Trenton (Ewing Township), NJ**General Summary:**The primary responsibility of the Insurance Specialist is to accurately underwrite Personal Lines risks while serving as a first line of support to representatives on complex matters.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

Regular and predictable onsite attendance is an essential function of the job.* Accurately and effectively underwrite all types of Personal Lines business in all states.* Provide support to internal customers regarding complex matters and escalated customer inquiries.* Support the department through participation in meetings, projects, and initiatives as assigned.**Hours:** 9:45 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, Saturday 8:30-4:45 p.m. (During the first 4-5 months of training, hours will be Monday through Friday 8:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).**Required Qualifications:** Knowledge, skills & abilities, experience, minimum & desired education, certification and/or license requirements.* Bachelor's Degree (or pursuing a degree) in **Risk Management and Insurance** or 18 months experience as an NJM Licensed Account Representative* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy* Sound judgment and decision-making abilities* Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks* Solid analytical and problem-solving skills* Effective conflict resolution* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience providing high quality customer service in a professional setting* Completion of general insurance courses such as AINS, AIS, API, or CPCU, are a plus* Property & Casualty Insurance License or Personal Lines Authority (The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License as a condition of employment)**Legal Disclaimer:** NJM is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
