Resident Advisor needed in Pasadena-Temporary

PsychPros is a nationally recognized staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to behavioral healthcare. We are in need of Resident Advisors to work with people experiencing homelessness in Pasadena.
This is a TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with adults in an adult or family congregate setting, or other homeless services oriented position
Familiarity in understanding and dealing with residents/clients with history of substance use and/or mental health related issues
Comfortable working in an environment where certain safety hazard conditions involving such things as clients in possession of controlled substances, weapons, drug paraphernalia, and physical/verbal threats may occur
Pay
$18.55/hour or $19.55/hour for overnight shift
Location 825 E. Orange Grove Blvd. | Pasadena, CA 91104
Schedule
Sunday through Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (40-hour position)
Saturday and Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (16-hour position)
Responsibilities
Supervise resident activities
Monitor the site
Interact with residents and staff in a positive and courteous manner
Assertively ensure a safe environment for the residents
May administer Naloxone once trained
Utilize deescalation techniques
