Role Overview The Inside Sales Specialist is an entry-level commercial role designed for candidates with a scientific background who are interested in building a career in sales within the life sciences or diagnostics industry. In this role, you will support customer engagement, qualify leads, and help develop new business opportunities while learning consultative sales skills and product applications. You will work closely with experienced Inside Sales and Field Sales colleagues and receive structured training on Medix Biochemica’s products, customers, and sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
Support Inside Sales and Field Sales teams with customer outreach and opportunity development.
Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and website enquiries.
Proactively contact customers via email, telephone, and virtual meetings.
Assist in maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customer accounts.
Prepare and issue quotations under guidance.
Support / Assist the Sales Managers with day-to-day tasks when traveling.
Help manage the sales pipeline and CRM data.
Identify cross-selling opportunities.
Participate in product and sales training.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Willingness to travel up to 15% of time.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in a life sciences discipline.
0–2 years of relevant experience.
Interest in a sales or commercial career in life sciences.
Basic understanding of immunoassays or molecular biology preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to learn and develop.
Good organizational and IT skills.
