You’ll be part of Verizon’s State, Local and Education (SLED) Public Sector sales team, building our client-base and increasing satisfaction with current customers. You’ll have responsibility for prospecting, sales support and problem resolution for SLED accounts in your area. The client experience will be in your hands as you interact with customers and prospects to drive revenue growth and ensure outstanding customer service. Prospect for new customers while partnering with the sales team to close opportunities. Support account strategy with sales. Support ailure? success plans? with customers. New and existing customer contract implementation, migration, and onboarding support. Drive and train online self-service, My Business, adoption of features and users for SLED customers. Resolve customer problems and recommend solutions. Report out on and identify opportunities to increase in-person customer interactions for the Sales Reps. Support preparation for quarterly business reviews including review of adoption and value drivers. Help prioritize service requests based on their impact on customer success. Submit credits for review and ensure customer communication and application. Submit and follow up on internal department Get Support requests. Process feature and order transactions and support the renewal process. Collaborate with sales to identify upsell, cross-sell and migration opportunities. You have the drive and enthusiasm to win new business. You don’t mind cold-calling potential customers, and you enjoy meeting new people and uncovering their needs. Closing a sale takes initiative, and you know how to support the sales reps to follow up and follow through. Solving customer problems with first-class technical solutions energizes you. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can multitask to get things done. You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of relevant experience (demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience). A valid driver’s license. Eligibility to pass Motor Vehicle Record check. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Proven ability to identify customer opportunities and support SLED sales representatives. Experience solving customer problems and creating sales opportunities with multiple customers. Experience prospecting, selling, sales support, and problem resolution for business accounts. Experience in hunting for new business and partnering with the sales team to close the sale. Experience growing the business with existing customers. Familiarity with crafting programs and presenting solutions that wow customers. Experience resolving customer problems and recommending solutions. Experience managing sales tracking and scheduling appointments for a sales team. Where you’ll be working

In this mobile role, you’ll primarily work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours

Salary varies by location and experience; this is a commission-based role with earning potential.
