Caterpillar’s Construction Industries’ Core Solutions is hiring a

Technical Marketing Consultant for Caterpillar’s Customer Services Core Region Division .

Role Summary In this role you will have responsibility to lead delivery of customer-facing technical marketing content to support new introductions and updates for the aftermarket products, technologies and services, driving exceptional customer experiences. This position develops and executes content that:

Effectively communicates the product/services value proposition and differentiation in the market

Creates positive customer experiences across channels

Supports go to market commercial strategies

Ensures go-to-market readiness is achieved and marketing content is visible in critical channels

What You’ll Do

Serve as Content Work Stream Lead on Go to Market (GTM) team, ensuring alignment with GTM partners

Work collaboratively with product specialists, regional marketing teams and engineers

Develop product marketing to effectively convey value-selling messages, differentiated from the competition, focused on solutions and leading with customer needs.

Develop global core content plans (deliverables, languages, due dates) according to our content strategy

Develop, write and deliver core content marketing materials for aftermarket products, technologies and services (such as videos, technical specifications documents, web pages, product brochures, etc.), and ensure it is optimized for AI and organic search

Partner with enterprise process owners and external suppliers to execute and publish content, overseeing project management and utilizing internal systems for production and publication—including content and asset management databases, translation agencies, and related tools.

Manage complex, strategic initiatives to support product differentiation, business competitiveness and agility, and customer and employee engagement

Drive strategic and solution-oriented thinking, positive change management, content quality and process improvements

– Demonstrated talent developing clear technical documentation and applying value‑selling strategies to articulate product benefits.

Top Candidates Will Also Have

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field OR equivalent work experience

Demonstrated marketing experience and expertise, including product marketing

Strong customer focus, effective communications, relationship management, vendor management, creativity

Effective use of digital marketing tactics and analytics

Proven skills in effective messaging, including translating technical features into customer benefits and communicating why a customer would want our product over the competitors

Proven skills in developing value messaging and displays level of comfort reporting to senior and executive management

Additional Details

The preferred work location is Peoria, IL; Chicago, IL and Cary, NC will also be considered

Domestic relocation assistance is available with this position to Peoria, IL only for those who qualify

International and domestic travel up to 15%

This position requires working onsite five days a week

Summary Pay Range $97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
