The Regional Sector Leader also supports business development and growth by engaging directly with key clients in their geography and beyond, creating technical differentiators for our pursuits, and establishing a strong industry brand and presence. The Regional Sector Leader is responsible for elevating Stantec's brand and thought leadership in the industry by participating in professional conferences, publishing technical papers, conducting webinars and/or podcasts, expanding and growing Stantec’s capacity to win and deliver drinking water work in our Southwest Region Reporting directly to the North America Water Reuse Sector Leader, you will play a pivotal role in translating our broader North American strategy into actionable initiatives for the Southwest Region geography, closely collaborating to align resources, technical capabilities, and business growth objectives. Responsibilities

Identifying and supporting the win of strategic pursuits in collaboration with local Business Center Practice Leaders, Account Managers, and business developers Acting as a Liaison between local / regional teams and the North American Sector Leader and practice community to leverage both their and the sector's technical skills locally Reinforcing our brand as a leader in water treatment through active participation in industry organizations, thought leadership, and communication with strategic clients Providing leadership to our water treatment professionals Your capabilities and credentials

Strong Reuse technical skills and knowledge of regulations Experienced and visible industry leader in delivering complex projects with a high degree of technical proficiency Ability to lead and inspire teams with a strong commitment to meeting goals and upholding Stantec’s values and policies Demonstrated understanding of the Southwest market and industry trends with established working relationships with pertinent organizations Think strategically about the technologies, regulations, range of market, business and/or economic issues likely to impact the sector. Uses this information to develop strategies for sector development and growth Champions innovative ideas and initiatives and creates an environment that supports innovation. Leads the implementation of emerging technologies with a focus on potential challenges and appropriate courses of action Proven experience in client communications and technical proposal writing Committed to Health, Safety and Environment Located in the Southwest region with ability to travel throughout North America Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution. Master’s or PhD degree, preferred 15 years of directly relevant experience Licensed Professional Engineer Note
