Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Facilities Porter to support the cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep of our facility. This role focuses on maintaining a clean and safe environment through routine groundskeeping, trash removal, and light building support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Remove trash and recycling daily throughout the facility and transport materials to designated disposal areas
Maintain exterior areas, including sidewalks, entrances, and parking lots, to ensure a clean and professional appearance
Support general building cleanliness and organization
Assist with light facility support tasks as needed
Help ensure all workspaces remain clean, orderly, and safe
Provide support to the facilities and maintenance team as directed
Physical Demands
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
Frequent bending and stooping
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous porter, janitorial, or facilities support experience preferred
Forklift experience a plus
Ability to work independently and follow direction
Strong work ethic and reliability
