Essential Experience KeHE North East, Maryland is hiring for Warehouse Associate positions. The role involves receiving, stowing, picking, packing, and shipping in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. You will operate warehouse equipment, manage inventory, and support customer needs with teamwork.
Primary Responsibilities
Operate warehouse equipment and manage inventory to ensure accurate receiving and preparation of shipments
Maintain safety, quality, and teamwork in all duties
Assist with receiving, stowing, picking, packing, and shipping per customer requirements
Keep accurate product descriptions and label descriptions aligned
Build pallets to meet customer guidelines and production standards while minimizing errors
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Other warehouse duties and special projects as requested

Physical & Scheduling Requirements Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, move, and carry 30-40 pounds repeatedly (up to 1,000 times per day) and larger items up to 75 pounds less frequently. The role may require standing, walking, climbing, and sitting. The warehouse environment can vary in temperature, including dry, freezer, and cooler zones. Freezer temperatures: -10°F; Refrigerator: 25–35°F. Exposure to outdoor conditions and typical warehouse noise levels are expected.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Availability to work weekends, holidays, day shifts, and overnight schedules
Additional Skills & Aptitude
At least one year of experience in food distribution or a warehouse environment (preferred)
Experience operating powered warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.)
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal customers and management
Commitment to safe warehouse practices
Ability to work independently while supporting team success
Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) or similar tracking systems (preferred)
