more modern, safe, and sustainable living.Chemours is seeking a **Capital Markets Leader** to join our high-performing **Treasury** team! This position will be responsible for oversight of all aspects of capital markets and risk management and report directly to the Assistant Treasurer in our **Wilmington, DE** location.
This role is highly visible within the Company and works closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis, Controllership, Technical Accounting, Tax, Investor Relations and Legal departments.
Chemours provides a hybrid work environment – this role requires the individual to come to Wilmington, DE office one to three days a week.This role requires someone who has experience operating in a public company environment with the associated disclosure and equity investor considerations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of capital markets transactions with particular emphasis on financial modeling, deal structuring and negotiation. The individual in this role will be a key member of the Treasury Leadership Team.
Accordingly, this position represents a potential growth opportunity within the Chemours Finance function for the successful candidate.**The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:*** Work with internal and external stakeholders to structure debt and equity capital markets transactions, take them to market and lead execution & closing tasks* Work on analyses and presentations for the CFO and board of directors in close cooperation with Corporate FP&A, Controllership and Tax teams* Provide Treasury oversight on lease vs. buy decisions for leases around the world and maintain lease vs. buy models. Review customer and supplier agreements from a treasury perspective* Manage Treasury initiatives on capital structure, risk management and capital allocations including share repurchases* Manage foreign exchange outlook and country risk forecasts. Devise hedging strategies related to currency, interest rates and commodities* Develop and maintain rating agencies models* Oversee compliance and reporting tasks each quarter related to credit agreement, receivables securitization, interest rate swap, unsecured debt, foreign exchange hedging, etc.* Improve and Automate (where relevant) routine tasks through existing ERP or TMS and tools like Alteryx, MS Power Platform, etc.* Assist in maintenance of investment bank, financial advisor and rating agency relationships* Perform ad hoc financial analyses, as needed.
