About the Role: Social Media Marketing and Leasing The Social Media Marketing & Leasing Specialist is responsible for driving brand awareness, lead generation, and resident engagement for a multifamily community through strategic social media marketing and effective leasing practices. This role combines digital marketing creativity with customer-focused leasing to attract prospective residents, promote the community lifestyle, and convert online interest into signed leases.

The specialist will manage and grow the property’s social media presence, create engaging content, respond to online inquiries, and promote community events while also guiding prospects through the leasing process—from initial contact to move-in. This position plays a key role in maintaining strong occupancy levels and delivering a positive resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to promote the property and its lifestyle

Create and schedule engaging content, including photos, videos, stories, promotions, and resident highlights.

Monitor and respond to social media messages, comments, and online inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Track and analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach and engagement.

Conduct property tours and effectively present apartment homes, amenities, and community features.

Follow up with prospects through calls, emails, and social media for leads and close leases.

Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitor communities, and pricing.

Support community events, resident engagement initiatives, and online reputation management.

Maintain accurate leasing records and assist with administrative leasing tasks

Qualifications

Experience in social media marketing, leasing, sales, or customer service

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with social media platforms

Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to build relationships and close deals.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed

Preferred Skills

Short-form video creation (Reels/TikTok).

Basic knowledge of digital advertising and analytics.

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or GED (required)

1–3 years of experience in social media marketing, leasing, sales, or customer service (multifamily experience preferred)

Strong knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok

Experience creating engaging content, including photos, videos, captions, and stories

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines

Physical Requirements

Ability to walk the property and tour units regularly

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

May require bending, stair climbing, and prolonged periods of standing
