All plans must comply with Home Building Facilities’ design specifications, construction design sheets, HUD or MOD code requirements, manufacturing needs, and Clayton drawing standards using CAD.**Duties/Responsibilities:*** Create Home Building Facilities’ production drawings required to construct all models.* Create all 3rd‐party submittal drawings (floor plan, electrical, shear walls, plumbing, gas, HVAC).* Be available during Home Building Facilities’ business hours to assist as needed.* Create drawings for a model from preliminary sketches through completion, including options.* Coordinate with Home Building Facilities.* Ensure all work is complete and accurate before distribution.* Consolidate all separately generated house files into one accurate design package for 3rd‐party and Home Building Facilities.* Manage priorities and projects based on Home Building Facilities’ schedule and collaborate with the facility team and Product Design Team Leader.* Maintain knowledge of manufacturing materials and DAPIA manuals.* Ability to travel and possibly stay overnight at assigned Home Building Facilities.* Periodically follow homes during construction for process knowledge and production team assistance.**Qualifications*** Technical college or trade school education with ongoing design development.* Strong working knowledge of CAD and related systems.* Basic understanding of housing construction processes and materials.* Strong problem‐solving skills.* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional.* Intermediate computer skills.* Sense of urgency and commitment to service.Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
