Overview
As a
Salesforce Agentforce Lead/Architect , you will make an impact by leading the design, development, deployment, and optimization of Agentforce autonomous agents within production environments. You will be a valued member of the Salesforce delivery team and work collaboratively with cross‑functional technical and product stakeholders. Responsibilities
Build and deploy Agentforce Agents into production environments using best‑practice methodologies. Leverage Agentforce, Data360 with RAG, Agent Scripts, Agentforce Vibes, and prompt‑engineering techniques to design scalable agent solutions. Conduct rigorous behavioral and autonomous testing, including prompt injection assessment and multistep‑reasoning validation. Evaluate, fine‑tune, and manage Agent instructions to ensure high‑quality outputs and agent reliability. Partner with engineering, product, and architecture teams to optimize agent performance and operational readiness. Work model

Minimum 5+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 1 year focused on building and deploying Agentforce Agents into production. Strong proficiency in Agentforce, Data360 with RAG, Agent Script, Agentforce Vibes, and prompt engineering. Demonstrated experience in testing autonomous agent behaviors, including behavioral testing, prompt‑injection testing, and multistep‑reasoning validation. Proven ability to evaluate, fine‑tune, and manage Agent instructions to improve agent reliability and accuracy. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex agent behaviors into actionable improvements. These will help you stand out
Deep hands‑on expertise in end‑to‑end autonomous agent lifecycle management. Prior experience optimizing Salesforce‑based AI or automation frameworks. Strong cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills supporting both technical and business teams. Experience contributing to scalable enterprise agent‑architecture strategies. Passion for emerging AI‑driven automation technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem. Additional notes

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 p.a. – $180,000 p.a., depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
