About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Carrier Sales within the National Accounts segment. This senior-level role is pivotal in driving market expansion and revenue growth by proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with large, national insurance carriers. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a multi-year pipeline, deepening client relationships with senior executives, and leading complex solution sales processes. A key aspect of the role is to serve as a trusted advisor, understanding the strategic needs of the clients, and positioning the company as a strategic partner. The role demands a high level of strategic collaboration, both with internal teams to ensure client solutions align with operational capabilities and with senior leadership to define and execute long-term business development objectives.

Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years' related experience, with a preference for those holding professional designations such as CEBS, CPCU, CIC, or ARM. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the property and casualty insurance sector, with a proven track record of closing large, complex, multi-year deals. Expertise in consultative, value-based, and solution-oriented selling is essential, as is the ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. The role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of carrier operations, skilled in navigating RFP/RFI processes, contract negotiations, and customization. Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales tracking tools is also necessary. The candidate should be a strong communicator, capable of acting independently, and with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
