About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Director for its OR, Cath Lab, EP Lab, PACU, and SPD in a cardiovascular-focused setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership stability and strong clinical oversight in these perioperative and cardiovascular procedural services. Key duties include overseeing the surgical and procedural areas, supporting scheduling, administrative operations, issue escalation, team stability, and ensuring survey readiness. The ideal candidate will have interim leadership experience in surgical and cardiovascular services, a strong background in OR, cath lab, and EP operations, and familiarity with TJC surveys and readiness. They must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs, with excellent communication skills.
Applicants for the Interim Director position must have a Bachelor’s degree, an active RN license, and progressive leadership experience in perioperative services, particularly in cardiovascular-focused surgical and procedural areas. The role requires a leader who can start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance and is adept at managing a large team of FTEs. The Interim Director will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and safety of patient care, as well as the operational efficiency of the perioperative and cardiovascular services. The position demands a professional with a strong clinical background, the ability to lead through change, and a commitment to the highest standards of patient care and safety.
