Sr. Director, Supply & Capacity Planning
to lead the enterprise supply planning organization across commodities, milk balancing, capacity modeling, demand planning, and product replenishment. Reporting directly to the COO, this leader owns the supply side of the business — ensuring reliable raw milk and material availability, proactive commodity risk management, optimized milk utilization, aligned production capacity, and inventory performance that supports Clover’s growth, margin objectives, and sustainability commitments. Partnering closely with Commercial, Finance, Farm Relations, and Manufacturing leadership, this role translates demand signals into executable, cost-effective, and scalable supply strategies. While Commercial retains ownership of S&OP governance, the Sr. Director ensures supply readiness, operational alignment, and disciplined execution across the network. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a supply chain leader who thrives in a dynamic, commodity-driven environment and wants to shape the operational engine of a purpose-driven, growth-oriented dairy brand. Role Requirements
Strategic Planning & Engineering Analysis: Proven ability to define and execute long-term supply chain and capacity goals that are quantitatively aligned with company growth targets. Demonstrated systematic, engineering-based approach to modeling complex operational systems. Executive Communication & Cross-Functional Leadership: Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing and aligning diverse executive and operational stakeholders, both internal and external (suppliers, industry contacts, co-manufacturers). Advanced Problem-Solving & Constraint Removal: Decisive, data-driven approach to resolving real-time supply chain disruptions. Ability to analyze complex supply chain and operational models to proactively identify bottlenecks, and architect and champion long-term capital and process plans for constraint removal, risk mitigation, and cost optimization. Quantitative & Systems Expertise: Deep, practical expertise in advanced capacity modeling, cold chain logistics, and best practices in inventory control. Expert proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for production planning and inventory. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, including building, maintaining, and utilizing complex data models, advanced statistical functions, and cost-to-serve analyses for forecasting and strategic planning. Regulatory and Compliance Oversight: Strong commitment to and understanding of adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable industry regulations, including dairy, food safety, and procurement compliance standards at a strategic level. 5+ years of progressive experience in a senior supply chain or operational role, ideally in the food or high-volume manufacturing industry.
