The
Director of
Operations
is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of DCCH Center. The Director of Operations partners closely with the CEO to translate the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic goals into effective operational execution. This role ensures that internal systems operate efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with organizational values, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations. This position reports directly to the President and CEO.
Organization and location DCCH Center for Children and Families; Fort Mitchell, Kentucky
Salary $75,000-$90,000 annually
Key Responsibilities Strategic & Executive Leadership
Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to organizational strategy, planning, and decision-making.
Translate strategic goals into operational plans, policies, and performance metrics.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, equity, and continuous improvement.
Operations Management
Manage facility vendors and contracts.
Oversee daily operations across the campus.
Monitor and improve operational policies, procedures, and workflows.
Oversee Preventive Maintenance Plan, Capital Improvement Plan, and Capital Projects.
Resource Management
Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of organizational resources.
Monitor operational expenses and identify cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities.
Support grant, contract, and funding compliance related to operational activities.
Supervision & Management of Staff
Oversee Finance, Advancement, Maintenance, and Food Service departments.
Qualifications Education & Experience
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, Social Work, or a related field (preferred).
Prefer 5–8 years of leadership experience
Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, child and family services, or community-based organizations strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to think analytically and strategically while managing operational details.
IT knowledge with emphasis on data driven decision making.
