Senior Banker
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Senior Banker within U.S. Bank's Denver Institutional Client Group (former Commercial Banking). This role is with the Global Industrials and Services team based out of our downtown Denver Tower office. The ideal candidate has proven business development experience in the commercial and industrial space ($50MM to approximately $1Bn revenue companies) in addition to having the ability manage and grow a commercial loan portfolio. Candidate should have knowledge and experience with regards to advising clients and prospects on commercial banking and capital markets product sets and services. The candidate should be experienced in commercial credit underwriting procedures including navigating a commercial banking loan approval process, in addition to managing portfolio credit quality. This person should be a team player, have excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills. Base pay for this role usually falls within $140,000 to $225,000. Additional considerations regarding base pay levels are based on candidate qualifications. Basic Qualifications: Degree in finance, accounting, or related field 10 or more years of commercial banking experience Preferred Skills/Experience: Proven business development skills with companies in the commercial and industrial space Proven knowledge and experience with regards to initiating and driving successful internal partnerships with treasury management and payments solutions, foreign exchange, capital markets and wealth management, amongst other internal banking partners Experienced with regards to growing and managing a portfolio mid-cap clients ($50 million to approx. $1billion revenue) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Understanding of commercial credit and underwriting Self-starter with excellent time management skills Location expectations: This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members' whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
