This is Hybrid role (4 days in office /1 day remote) About your Team: Interactive Brokers (“IBKR”) is seeking an entry-level Sales-Trader/Analyst to join the Securities Finance desk. The desk is responsible for interfacing with institutional clients to facilitate short selling and complex arbitrage strategies, trading the Delta One book, devising new trade types and enhancing IBKR's securities lending and interest rate products. Responsibilities
Provide locates and securities lending market color to clients including hedge funds, ETF managers and proprietary trading firms Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to other departments such as Client Service, Risk, Treasury, Sales, Outsourced Trading, Operations, Product and Legal Price Delta One trades utilizing Bloomberg and Excel Build models of new trade types to evaluate risk, revenue and balance sheet impact Propose new projects and execute your vision Expand the fully-paid securities lending program Generate reports and perform P&L analysis Conduct US IPO syndicate activities Required skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or a related field Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Interact with clients and counterparties using sound judgment and strong integrity Ability to conceptualize, present and complete projects to increase P&L, enhance systems and elevate the client experience Knowledge of Excel is preferred (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines Experience in Prime Brokerage/Treasury/Operations Company Benefits & Perks
