The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Foundation, which is dedicated to advancing the landscape and lawn care industry through education, scholarships, and research. The successful candidate will be a strategic and relationship-driven leader, responsible for overseeing all Foundation programs, financial stewardship, donor engagement, and external communications. This role involves serving as the primary liaison between the Foundation Board, investors, donors, and stakeholders, ensuring strong governance, financial accountability, and mission-aligned program delivery. The Executive Director will also be tasked with managing the Foundation's scholarship program, developing annual work plans and budgets, and working to increase the Foundation's budget through enhanced fundraising efforts.
Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of five years' experience in fundraising, association management, or a related industry, with a proven track record in fundraising and donor engagement. The role requires excellent project management, communication skills, and the ability to work with Boards of Directors. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating vision into action, strengthening partnerships, and advancing programs that have a measurable impact. A Bachelor's degree is required, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must. The Executive Director will be expected to lead from the front in fundraising, build sustainable infrastructure, and ensure that the Foundation's programs achieve meaningful outcomes. Strong relationships within the industry or the ability to champion the profession are a plus.
