About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Capital Markets to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company's capital markets strategy, with a focus on pricing, hedging, funding, loan sales, and securitization execution. This role involves overseeing daily pricing, margin management, and competitive positioning to ensure profitability, as well as managing pipeline hedging, interest-rate risk, and investor delivery. The Head of Capital Markets will also be tasked with building and maintaining investor relationships, partnering with finance and treasury to optimize capital structure, and continuously enhancing systems and processes to improve efficiency and decision quality.
Applicants for the Head of Capital Markets position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in mortgage capital markets, with a strong preference for those with significant non-QM or specialty mortgage experience. The role requires a proven track record in managing daily pricing, pipeline hedging, and loan sale execution in a high-volume environment, as well as direct experience with warehouse facilities, borrowing base management, and securitization execution. Deep relationships with capital markets counterparties and a strong understanding of credit risk, loan guidelines, and structured mortgage products are essential. The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA in a related field and advanced financial modeling and Excel skills.
