The Global Information Security (GIS) organization is dedicated to securing the magic by utilizing best practices to assess, prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats. Our aim is to protect The Walt Disney Company's information systems and reduce risks, while optimizing technology to strengthen our business.

Team Overview:

GIS supports all Disney business segments, including Disney Entertainment & ESPN (DE&E). DE&E operates Disney's streaming services such as Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and more, alongside broadcast and cable networks. Our security professionals leverage industry-leading technologies to provide highly secure services to our audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent audit support for various compliance frameworks including SOX 404 ITGCs, PII, PCI, and ISPS.
• Conduct control health checks and remediation testing to address issues identified in audits.
• Participate in audit walkthroughs to assess the effectiveness of automated controls.
• Perform impact analysis and risk assessments on identified deficiencies.
• Record control findings and document them in internal systems.
• Collaborate with development leads to identify opportunities for automation to enhance governance and compliance.
• Update management on program status and work with stakeholders to gather necessary audit evidence.

Qualifications & Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in IT SOX, with a proven track record in IT audit and compliance.
• Detailed understanding of SOX ITGC and ICFR 404 standards and audit objectives.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Adept at conveying technical information to various audiences.
• Highly organized, efficient, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of NIST framework, ISO 27001, K-ISMS, and GDPR.
• Experience with organizations utilizing microservice architecture.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $97,500.00 to $130,700.00 per year. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and other factors including geographic region, job-related skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include bonuses and a full range of benefits.
