Summer Digital Marketing Intern (Campaigns & Growth)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: Summer Internship (May 26 – Aug 7)
Reporting To: Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing
Company Overview Highline Warren is a vertically integrated manufacturer and distributor of consumable and maintenance products within the North American automotive aftermarket. We manufacture and distribute more than 25,000 products across owned brands, licensed brands, private label, and third parties. With 12 manufacturing facilities and 15 distribution centers, we serve over 14,000 customers and generate $1.5 billion in annual revenue.
As we continue building our first-ever communications and growth marketing capabilities, we are excited to offer a hands-on internship for a student interested in digital marketing, analytics, and campaign execution within a fast-growing organization.
Internship Summary The Digital Marketing Intern (Campaigns & Growth) will support the execution and optimization of digital marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Under the guidance of the Marketing Manager, the intern will gain exposure to full-funnel marketing while owning select campaign components and reporting projects.
This role is designed to be highly hands-on and educational, providing real-world experience with performance marketing channels, marketing analytics, and campaign operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of lead generation and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns targeting key national accounts
Assist in campaign strategy development, including audience identification, messaging themes, and channel selection
Help build and manage campaign assets such as email drafts, landing page briefs, and audience lists
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support campaign deployment across selected digital channels
Track campaign performance metrics and assist with basic reporting and insights, particularly toward the end of the internship
Participate in campaign optimization discussions based on early performance indicators
Contribute to the successful launch of a national lead generation campaign from planning through deployment
Learning Objectives
Hands-on experience supporting and owning parts of full-funnel digital marketing campaigns
Exposure to performance marketing metrics, dashboards, and optimization techniques
Experience working within a cross-functional marketing organization
A portfolio of real campaign work and documented results
Required Skills & Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or a related field
Strong interest in digital marketing, growth, or analytics
Comfortable working with data in spreadsheets; curiosity for metrics and performance
Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (Not Required)
Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar platforms
Coursework or projects related to digital marketing, analytics, or advertising
Basic understanding of SEO, email marketing, or paid media concepts
Work Environment
Desk-based role in an office or hybrid setting
Standard office environment with collaborative team interaction
