Position Description:

CGI is seeking a high‑potential Senior SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with experience in the SAP ECC or S/4HANA Funds Management (FM) module. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients by leading workshops, gathering and analyzing requirements, designing and presenting solutions, configuring SAP, and completing full lifecycle implementations associated with federal financials in the Budget Formulation to Execution (BF2E) and Record to Report (R2R) business process areas. The primary focus is on design, configuration, and testing in SAP S/4HANA Public Sector, with the opportunity to mentor an agile team focused on BF2E and R2R within the FM module. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP Federal Financial Accounting processes and solutions.

This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Facilitate the implementation of requirements, solution design, and SAP FM configuration for the Public Sector to enhance business functionality and overall performance while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Lead workshops to review business requirements and translate them into system requirements, identifying gaps, issues, and workarounds across financial management, procurement, and asset management functions.

• Serve as a liaison with the client to troubleshoot issues: investigate, analyze, and resolve software problems; map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; and develop necessary product modifications, including master data updates.

• Perform design, configuration, and testing of the FM module in SAP S/4HANA, supporting teams dedicated to BF2E and R2R.

• Create Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and support the creation of Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and To‑Be process designs for SAP S/4HANA solutions.

• Take primary responsibility for the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA, providing functional expertise, guidance, presentations, and instruction to clients.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check (required due to contract requirements).

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 6 years of SAP consulting experience, including federal financials in FM.

• Expertise in financial management best practices, including demos, test scripts, and functional/technical design documentation.

• Strong knowledge of federal financial management processes, including federal regulations, the USSGL, and Treasury reporting and posting models.

• Working‑level knowledge and hands‑on experience with federal financial management systems and programs such as GTAS, CAR, TROR, Treasury Offset Program, SAM.gov, and Pay.gov.

• Expertise in the configuration and implementation of FM and key integration points with other SAP modules such as Finance (FI), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD).

• Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess problems and provide clear recommendations.

• Strong organizational skills.

Desired qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.

• Experience with end‑to‑end SAP implementations.

• Certification in SAP S/4HANA.

• Experience integrating with SAP areas such as Finance (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Materials Management (MM).

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,800.00 - $245,500.00.
