Assistant Property Manager
Location: Rochester/Dover, NH Compensation: $50,000–$65,000 annually Schedule: Full-time Travel: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between properties. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations across a portfolio of residential properties. This position plays a key role in resident relations, compliance, financial performance, and ensuring properties operate efficiently and professionally. Key Responsibilities
Support daily property operations and ensure compliance with all housing regulations. Assist with rent collection, reporting, and handling delinquencies. Manage resident communication, lease renewals, and move-in/move-out coordination. Monitor property conditions and collaborate with maintenance teams. Provide prompt, high-level customer service to residents. Assist with budgeting and general financial oversight. Work with leasing, bookkeeping, and administrative teams to meet portfolio goals. Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of property management experience. LIHTC experience preferred; certifications such as Tax Credit Specialist are a plus. Strong understanding of compliance and tenant income certification processes. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with property management software (e.g., AppFolio) is preferred. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Compensation & Benefits
