Within our Residential portfolio, we own and operate 21 active adult/independent living senior housing communities (True Connection Communities) and 21 land lease communities (Windward Communities) throughout the United States with a total of over 7,500 home sites and 3,300 senior living units.
SUMMARY
As a key member of the Applications Team, the Senior Applications Analyst drives operational efficiency in a high energy, fast paced environment by owning the functional and technical health of the company's core business applications, including the customer relationship management, property management, and financial planning applications. In this role, the Senior Applications Analyst will work closely with the company's IT, operations, sales and marketing, finance, and analytics teams to ensure business applications deliver high operating performance and business data is cleanly collected and integrated between systems. The role reports to the Applications Lead and has a direct impact on the operating efficiency and profitability of all real estate investments.
REQUIRED BUSINESS SKILLS Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for department heads and vendors. You translate "business speak" into technical specifications for developers. Project Leadership: Oversee large-scale system implementations using modern SDLC frameworks. You steer projects through ambiguity, on time and within budget. Strategic Thinking: Have a deep understanding of how each application fits into the entire company ecosystem and how this relates to value. Financial Literacy: Understanding of cost-benefit analyses, OpEx vs. CapEx, and how architectural decisions impact the bottom line. Customer Partnership: Close collaboration with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex issues. You show empathy toward your end users and give them intuitive solutions that abstract away complexity. Communication: Ability to present technical solutions to non-technical audiences. Proficiency in training and supporting end-users and creating technical/training manuals. REQUIRED TECH SKILLS
System Design & Optimization: Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex enterprise systems. You don't just fix bugs; you re-architect workflows to prevent them. Application & Data Architecture: Understanding how different software systems talk to each other (APIs, microservices) and how data flows through the organization. Workflow Automation: Identify process inefficiencies and design automated workflows to optimize business processes. Security & Compliance: Manage user permissions and security roles to ensure SOX compliance and data integrity across all platforms. REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems; 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Ability to focus on a problem at hand while considering the overarching company strategy Openness to all solutions and ability to build conviction in a solution based on evidence Comfortability working in ambiguous problem spaces PREFERRED SKILLS
Prior experience in real estate, specifically the residential / multi-family sector Knowledge of
database management and SQL Experience with modern project management methodologies ( Agile, Scrum, etc .) Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools Have knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks Have experience implementing knowledge management systems and/or intranets
