
Human Resources Specialist I (Part-Time)

maintains
, audits, and keys employee data related to new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, demotions and raises. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains and updates HCM system, including but not limited to, hires, terminations, I-9, employee data, transfers, compensation
changes
and job changes; reviews output for accuracy. Evaluates daily, weekly,
monthly
and annual audit output and
determines
steps to resolve data issues.
Enters
correction requests when necessary. Responds to requests and / or questions for employee data changes and or updates from regional offices,
managers
and employees. Performs administrative tasks in support of employee data compliance, including but not limited to filing, scanning, data
input
and presentations. Provides coaching and direction to the Company's regional and corporate executives, managers,
employees
and stores
pertaining to
data compliance requirements. Provides information
regarding
vacation / PTO inquiries. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting
are in compliance
and kept
confidentially
. Reports systematic issues or training gaps to HR Specialist II or Senior. Monitors report output and
assesses
priority of required actions. Stays current on the latest industry technologies,
trends
and strategies. Assists employees,
vendors
or other customers by answering questions related to HR data and HCM. Completes work in
a timely
and
accurate
manner while providing exceptional customer service. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: This position requires a minimum of one year of experience in a human resources support or data entry role. Experience with
HCM
system is preferred. Workday experience
highly
desirable. Experience working with a timekeeping system is preferred.
Kronos
experience is highly desirable. This position also requires excellent communication, organizational, detail-oriented, time
management
and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, is necessary. The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional
demeanor
and work well independently is essential. Customer service skills, including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while
maintaining
a positive and friendly attitude are essential. In addition, troubleshooting, organizational and
problem solving
skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential. Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with
respect
and upholding Company values are key attributes. Educational Requirements This position requires a high school diploma or
GED
.
Additional
college level human resources or
business related
classes are beneficial. Work Days Normal
work days
are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary. Work Hours Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
