WHAT IS THIS OPPORTUNITY?
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Credit Officer, where you will play a critical role in managing credit portfolios within the exciting entertainment and sports banking sector. In this key position, you will engage directly with transactions and may oversee your portfolio, serving as a vital escalation point for complex transactions. Your primary responsibilities will include credit adjudication, day-to-day portfolio management supervision, and mentorship of your team members to ensure high-quality and timely outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a diverse team in Credit Solutions, promoting a strong culture of risk management and excellence.
Credit Oversight:
Manage credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio oversight to achieve organizational goals and uphold risk protocols.
Performance Evaluation:
Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance metrics continuously, driving improvements where necessary.
Risk Management:
Enforce rigorous risk management standards to maintain optimal credit quality in line with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
Business Development:
Drive business growth by identifying strategic initiatives, conducting market assessments, and uncovering new business opportunities.
Collaborative Engagement:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless credit operations that align with the Bank's strategic objectives.
Industry Insight:
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory updates, and competitive dynamics to effectively manage credit operations.
Talent Development:
Mentor and coach team members, actively supporting ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS: Required Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of increasing responsibility in credit underwriting and portfolio management within respective sectors.
At least 3 years of experience in leadership or coaching capacities focusing on underwriting or credit management.
Preferred Advanced understanding of credit management practices and robust risk management skills.
Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on fostering talent and team development.
Outstanding communication skills and a talent for effective collaboration at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and inform decision-making processes.
Specific knowledge and expertise in the entertainment and sports banking industry.
WHAT WE OFFER: Compensation:
Competitive base salary ranging from $141,830 to $263,408 annually, with opportunities for bonuses. Benefits and Perks:
