Overview
Dubinett Architects is an architectural firm specializing in high-end custom residential homes. Over the past 25 years we have gained recognition for client service and design accomplishments in New Jersey. Dubinett Architects is seeking an Architect with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an architectural office and a BArch or higher from an accredited university to join us as we continue to set the standard for excellence in high-end, custom residential design. Responsibilities
Produce architectural designs and documentation for high-end, custom residential projects. Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts and detailed plans. Demonstrate a strong design sense and working knowledge of sustainable design, materials, and practices. Prepare and present graphic presentations and technical drawings with proficiency. Maintain organization and independence in project tasks and deadlines. Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in an architectural office. BArch or higher from an accredited university. Proficiency with AutoCAD (mandatory). Experience with residential construction in the U.S. is a must. Strong writing and technical skills; proficiency in graphic presentation. Experience with Chief Architect, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or SketchUp is a plus, but not mandatory. Evidence of proficiency and a portfolio will be reviewed. Location and Terms
Position can be part-time, full-time, or contract-based and is located in our Short Hills, NJ office. Applicants should live within a reasonable driving distance (within 20 miles maximum). This is not a remote job.
