SALT-Indirect Tax Senior Manager
As the Global Indirect Tax Senior Manager, you'll deliver a full range of tax planning, consulting, and compliance services for your multiple clients all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. You'll collaborate with the Sales and Use Tax team and lead staff on various tax matters, on all phases of project and engagement management, because together is how we succeed. Your day-to-day may include: Respond to inquiries from the State and other tax authorities
Lead a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management, to gather information and perform tax services
Lead team members to promptly resolve client problems or tax issues encountered in preparation process
Understand client operations, processes, and business objectives, and utilize that knowledge on engagements
Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis
Senior Managers will oversee numerous client projects and tasks simultaneously
Lead professional development and training sessions on a regular basis
Business Development lead sales presentations for both existing and prospective clients
Other duties as assigned
You have the following technical skills and qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting
Minimum ten years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting
CPA, JD, or Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Senior Managers are required to manage various project tasks at the same time
Project managers will be ultimately responsible for the overall project and deliverable
Support business development activities, such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities at clients
Strong computer skills
Can travel as needed
