Job Summary:

SHIFT HOURS Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Responsibilities

The Parts Specialist will work in our parts warehouse maintaining heavy equipment and engine parts inventory for the needs of servicemen and customers. Works closely with servicemen and deals directly with customers on their parts needs. Maintains parts inventory levels for the warehouse and orders stock from other locations and CAT as needed. Assists in the warehouse with the picking and packing of parts orders, making of hydraulic hoses, shipping and receiving of parts inventory, forklift use, and parts delivery as needed. Follows safe working practices/procedures. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Works with supervisor to follow a career development plan. Maintains personnel timecards. Communicates effectively and works harmoniously and constructively with other employees and customers. Attends required training classes. Follows clear verbal and written instructions and adheres to all company policies and procedures. Locates and uses service literature and/or technical information. Keeps up to date with developments in tooling, technologies, and systems. Operates various types of cleaning equipment under supervision. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships. Performs all other duties as assigned. Minimum Skills and Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. Two or more years of warehouse and inventory experience, some of this experience should be in a mechanical parts environment, preferably with knowledge and experience with CAT heavy equipment and diesel engine parts. Computer proficiency using MS Office and familiarity and experience within a database environment. Must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude. Also, must be customer-oriented and be willing to function in a team environment. Employee Benefits

Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling Repetitive Motions: Frequent movements requiring the use of hands, wrists, and fingers. Dexterity Normal Frequent standing/sitting up and down stairs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
