This is a hands-on, multi-functional role ideal for a creative self-starter who can manage both strategy and execution. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in building community engagement, developing inbound opportunities, and strengthening TechCompass’s voice as a trusted cybersecurity advisory firm.

Ideal Candidate Profile We’re looking for a proactive and organized marketing professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can balance creative storytelling with structured campaign management. The ideal candidate is:

Marketing-savvy:

Has 2–4+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within cybersecurity, IT, SaaS, or professional services. Comfortable managing digital channels, social media, and campaigns with measurable outcomes.

Strategic and creative:

Understands how to craft narratives that connect with SMB and mid-market audiences. Can translate technical topics into accessible, engaging stories and visuals.

Digital-first:

Skilled in LinkedIn content management, website publishing (WordPress, Webflow, or similar), and using digital tools for scheduling, analytics, and automation.

Community-minded:

Enjoys building networks and engagement. Can manage podcasts, webinars, and events that attract both clients and industry peers.

Analytical and results‑driven:

Uses data to track performance, improve campaigns, and report progress. Experienced with basic CRM, analytics dashboards, or ad platforms.

Organized and self‑managing:

Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently, maintaining consistent output across channels.

Collaborative:

Works closely with the founder, partners, and contractors to align marketing with business goals. Communicates clearly and consistently.

Bonus if the candidate has:

Experience managing podcasts or coordinating guest outreach

Familiarity with paid social and lead generation campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, HubSpot, etc.)

Content creation experience (graphic design, short‑form video, or writing blogs/newsletters)

Key Responsibilities Social Media Management

Manage both the founder’s and TechCompass’s LinkedIn presence

Develop a consistent posting calendar with thought leadership, podcast clips, event promotions, and service highlights

Engage with community comments, shares, and messages to build audience trust and reach

Podcast Coordination

Plan, schedule, and coordinate guests for the Securing the Future podcast

Manage outreach, booking, recording logistics, and follow‑up posts

Collaborate on podcast promotion through social posts, clips, and newsletters

Website and Content Management

Maintain and update the TechCompass website (Webflow or WordPress)

Publish blogs, case studies, and interactive content such as quizzes and readiness checklists

Optimize pages for SEO and lead capture

Events and Webinars

Plan and promote quarterly webinars, local meetups, and partner events

Coordinate logistics, registrations, and follow‑up engagement

Lead Generation and Campaigns

Execute targeted LinkedIn and email campaigns to drive inbound leads

Manage ad spend and performance tracking

Develop audience lists, workflows, and A/B tests to refine outreach

Community Building

Grow TechCompass’s contact and partner network across cybersecurity and VC/PE communities

Build engagement pipelines for prospects, guests, and influencers

Analytics and Reporting

Track social, website, and campaign performance

Provide regular summaries of KPIs, engagement growth, and ROI metrics

Compensation and Structure This is a foundational marketing role with opportunity for growth as the company scales its brand and media presence.

Base Salary:

~$55,000 – $65,000 (based on experience)

Bonus:

Performance‑based bonus tied to growth metrics (followers, engagement, leads generated)

Structure:

Open to W2 employee or 1099 contractor depending on fit

Growth Path:

Potential to evolve into Marketing Specialist and Manager role as function expands
