PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing business clients. Will serve as the primary point of contact for financial services and solutions.
Solicit, evaluate, and originate business loans in accordance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines. Monitor loan performance and provide ongoing support to clients.
Must fully understand loan policy and procedures and recommend enhancements, as needed.
Maintain a lending portfolio, approving credit within approved lending authority. Must maintain appropriate and complete documentation and files, as necessary.
Will analyze asset and repayment quality on existing loans and loan applications.
Responsible for collection of delinquent loans.
Make regular customer contact and conduct field inspections, financial analysis, and risk assessments, as needed.
Recommend appropriate banking products and services, based on customer needs and financial analysis.
Keep abreast of current industry trends, new programs, and regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and excellent customer service.
Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holdings Corp.
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
Responsible for promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
The employee will adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other business-related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of five years’ relevant experience in business lending or banking.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
Familiarity with business operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven history of developing new customer loan and deposit relationships
Proven history of providing successful referrals to other bank departments and subsidiary companies
Exhibits solid underwriting skills and credit presentation skills (verbal and written)
Handling of minimum of 75 customer relationships
Historical rolling average of past dues of under 1.25%
Historical technical exception level under 25%
Historical charge offs of under $250,000
