Loss Mitigation Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail oriented Loss Mitigation Coordinator to support a rapidly growing mortgage company located in Kearny Mesa. This minimum 3 month contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, compliance driven environment and is passionate about helping borrowers navigate financial hardship solutions. Key Responsibilities: Manage the intake, review, and processing of loss mitigation requests Gather, validate, and organize borrower financial documentation Maintain accurate entries and workflow updates in internal servicing systems Review incoming emails and inquiries; route requests appropriately and promptly Communicate with borrowers to explain available workout options and required steps Ensure all actions comply with investor, insurer, state, federal, and CFPB regulations Track and document case progress while meeting productivity and turnaround goals Collaborate with internal teams to resolve file discrepancies or missing information Support administrative tasks including document uploads, recordkeeping, and follow ups Qualifications: Experience in mortgage servicing, default operations, or loss mitigation preferred Mortgage industry experience is highly preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high volume environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; comfort working with loan servicing systems Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines Additional Details: Located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego 3 month minimum contract role Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm PST Onsite schedule, Full-time role Compensation: $23.00 per hour If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, please apply now we are conducting interviews immediately!
