About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Data Modeler
with a strong background in the
credit card/banking industry . The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in
Erwin data modeling tools (logical & physical)
and well-versed in
data governance, PCI compliance, encryption, and tokenization standards.
This role requires working closely with
data architects, business analysts, and engineering teams
to design scalable and secure data models aligned with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain
logical and physical data models
using
Erwin . Develop
complex data models
to support enterprise-scale credit card applications. Collaborate with
data architects, engineering teams, and business analysts
to define and refine requirements. Ensure compliance with
PCI DSS standards
and adopt
security patterns
(encryption, tokenization, masking). Apply
industry best practices
in data modeling to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability. Support
data governance
initiatives by documenting metadata, lineage, and design standards. Manage design considerations, trade-offs, and priorities across
multiple stakeholders . Provide ongoing support for
data model changes, enhancements, and optimizations. Must-Have Skills
Strong expertise in Erwin Data Modeling
(logical & physical modeling). Solid understanding of
data modeling principles, normalization, and best practices. Mandatory credit card industry experience
(transaction processing, billing, payments). Knowledge of
PCI compliance, encryption, and tokenization . Strong collaboration skills to work with business and technical stakeholders. Ability to handle
large-scale enterprise data models
in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills
Experience with
regulatory compliance
in the banking sector. Familiarity with
data governance frameworks
and metadata management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exposure to
cloud-based data platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP). Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems, or related field.
